Transportation Options

We are proud to offer courtesy transportation for our patients in need of transportation to and from surgery. Door-to-door service from your home to our Sarasota surgery center is provided upon your request; however, we ask that you utilize our transportation service as a last resort if you have no other means of getting to your surgery. This service is intended to assist our patients with no means to arrive at their scheduled surgery. We encourage you to use your own transportation so that a family member or friend can be with you throughout this special day. Your guests can witness your sight-restoring surgery from our state-of-the-art observation room. With your approval, your guests will sit with a trained narrator, who will guide them through the surgery process and answer any questions in real time – it is an opportunity not to be missed! Whether you’re coming from home in Sarasota, or from farther points such as Englewood, Port Charlotte, Bradenton, Arcadia, or Sun City, you’ll find our transportation comfortable and convenient and our drivers friendly and efficient.

Transportation Policy

Only Center For Sight surgery patients are eligible for our courtesy transportation services. This policy will ensure space is available for those patients that depend on our services. Unfortunately, that means we cannot extend this courtesy transportation to your spouse, partner, family member or friend. Please note: Patients must be able to completely transfer in and out of the vehicle on their own, without assistance from the driver.

Insurance/Fees

At Center For Sight the transportation service is a courtesy extended to our patients. This is not covered by Medicare. No insurance is needed and no extra fees are charged.
